Mushroom Hunter Rescued Safely After Getting Stuck Near Barney Resevoir
A 72-year-old mushroom picker was rescued safely by Washington County SAR teams and other volunteers after she was unable to go through a slippery route near Barney Reservoir.
Authorities say a 72-year-old woman was collecting chanterelle mushrooms when she reported that she was stuck in the area “due to slick terrain and a steep incline.” Read more here
