Thank you to the team members of the Summit County Rescue Group for rescuing the hiker. This is a reminder that anyone wanting to hike at night should always bring a flashlight or headlamp, especially if you are hiking up at 14,000 ft. summit. Other than bringing a source of light to your hiking trip, please make sure to pack an emergency bag full of essentials such as a warm blanket, water bottle, compass, etc., in case you get lost. As always, please be safe out there, everyone!
