WCSAR Rescues Injured Hiker Near Davis Creek Regional Park
On Sunday, January 25th, the Washoe County Search and Rescue was dispatched to rescue a hiker near Davis Creek Regional Park after he slipped on an icy area, causing him to suffer an injury to his leg.
WCSAR backcountry teams, working in conjunction with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District Engine 32, reached the patient about a quarter mile up the trail. Read more here
