AVSAR Rescues Stranded Hiker on Snowy Mountain of San de Cristo Range
The Alamosa Volunteer Search and Rescue rescued a hiker who was stranded on the snowy peaks of the San de Cristo Range after being unprepared for the hike.
According to South Fork Fire Rescue, the hiker had improper gear, including poor footwear, was in very windy terrain, and encountered deep snow. Read more here
