Stranded Hiker Rescued on mount Tallac
Last week, the El Dorado SAR team rescued a hiker stranded on the top of Mt. Tallac and couldn't find his way back down to the cold, snowy weather.
A team of rescuers left the Lily Lake trailhead at around 1:00 a.m. and made their way to the coordinates provided by emergency services. Read more here
Great work to the El Dorado SAr team for rescuing the hiker as we wish him well. Please always come prepared if you plan on hiking during the snowy weather. Make sure to pack emergency essentials and to dress warm and all bundled up. As always, please be safe out there!
