Hiker Rescued After Fall At Colorado National Monument
Over the weekend, the Mesa County Search and Rescue team came to the aid of a hiker who fell 15 ft. down from the Mosaic Tower at Colorado National Monumentonument, but was able to walk on their own.
The group said in a social media post that four of its responders, joined by two Grand Junction Fire Department paramedics, met with a National Parks Service ranger shortly after 1 p.m. Jan. 30, after the ranger made contact with the hiker who was already walking out of the canyon on their own despite “mild discomfort.” Read more here
