
Two Climbers Are Safe After A Rope Mishap At American Fork Canyon
Over two weeks ago, the County Search and Rescue and other volunteers rescued two climbers from American Fork Canyon after they experienced a rope mishap while out climbing.
As they did so, a knot developed near the end of the rope that would not allow the rope to pass through the anchor, Cannon explained. Read more here
We're glad to hear the climbers were rescued safely and kudos to them for being experienced climbers as they both decided it wasn't a good idea to continue climbing as they were dealing with a malfunction with one of their ropes.
