Stranded Mom and Son Rescued in Remote Forest All Thanks To Note
A woman and her son were successfully rescued by a volunteer SAR team in a remote Forest located in California after the duo were on their way to a Boy Scouts camp when they got lost, prompting the woman to write a note for someone to help them call for help.
About four hours after being dispatched, the search team found the first note that read: “HELP. Me and my son are stranded with no service and can’t call 911. We are ahead, up the road to the right. Please call 911 to get help for us. Thank you!” Read more here
Great work to the SAR teams for responding to the note and rescuing the woman and son successfully. We hope the duo is recovering well and as always, please be safe out there, everyone!
