Stranded Hiker Rescued on Quandary Peak
Summit County Search and Rescue rescued a hiker who was stranded on top of the 14er peak. The hiker was suffering from hypothermia, and the hazardous, wintery conditions prompted an SOS alert to the SAR team.
Traveling in high elevation areas amid winter conditions poses a deadly risk, making it crucial to prepare for frigid temperatures, slick and snowy terrain, and the possibility of injury. Read more here
