Stranded Hiker Rescued on Mount Major
On Sunday night, a 56-year-old Dover man was rescued by the N.H. Fish and Game Conservation Officers and the Lakes Region Search and Rescue team after his headlamp went out in the Boulder loop trail area and became stranded.
Roy was not prepared to spend the night and it was determined to send rescuers to his location to provide a headlamp and escort him to the trailhead parking area where his vehicle was parked. Read more here
