Nine Skiers Rescued in Whistler BC
Over the weekend, SAR teams in British Columbia rescued at least 9 skiers in separate rescues after 8 skiers became stranded in the terrain in Whistler while one hiker was rescued on Cypress Mountain after he was reported missing but was found below the Howe Sound Crest Trail. Kudos to the SAR teams for dedicating their lives to rescuing people over the weekend up in the B.C. area. This is a reminder to check the weather and other resources for possible avalanches near the destination to plan to go. We hope everyone involved is doing well and as always, please be safe out there!
