
Stranded Hiker Found Safe in Twin Lakes
Search and Rescue teams from Whatcom County have rescued a hiker after he got lost on an icy road area after a camping trip in the Twin Lakes area of Washington State.
The hiker realized the mountain road was icy and decided it was best to ask for help. Because he had supplies for a few extra days, the search and rescue team was able to carefully plan the rescue. Read more here
Great work to the SAR teams for rescuing the hiker. We also want to commend the man at his party for bringing his essentials with him in the case of being stranded. It's very important to bring a pack of emergency items just in case you get lost. Please be safe out there!
