Snorkeler Rescued After Being Swept Away Off Gilli Lawa island
Over the weekend, a 35-year-old woman who was visiting Indonesia from Malaysia was rescued by SAR teams after she went snorkeling in Gilli Lawa Island, where she was swept away due to strong weather conditions.
“She had been snorkelling with friends early Sunday morning when she became separated from the group due to strong currents,” said Maumere Basarnas head Fathur Rahman in a statement. Read more here
