Hiker Group Rescued in Sevens Falls Due To Heatwave
On Sunday, a group of hikers, including a 15-month-old toddler, was rescued in Seven Falls by Pima County Search and Rescue due to a heatwave.
Authorities tell News 4 Tucson two people had to be airlifted to safety. Read more here
Thank you to the PCSAR for rescuing the group, as this is a reminder to everyone who plans on hiking this summer to always be prepared for whatever comes your way. Make sure you pack an emergency bag of essentials, including lots of water, sunscreen, and food. Make sure your phone is charged in case you need assistance, and make sure you let someone back home know where you are headed.
