
Seattle Woman Rescued By OCSAR After Early Winters Fall
Last Sunday, the Okanogan County Search and Rescue assisted a 46-year-old woman from Seattle after she rock climbed on Early Winters Spires where she fell 20-30 ft down.
The woman slipped on an angled section of the rock face and was caught by the safety on her rope system. Read more here
We're glad to hear the woman was rescued safely despite having a possible ankle injury, but was a rockstar as she climbed down the rock wall, and walked down the trail to get help. A big thanks to the OCSAR team for aiding the woman. We hope she recovers from her injury and as always, please be safe out there!
