
SAR Teams Rescued Man and Dog After Elko Embankment Fall
The Elk Valley & South Country Rural Fire and Rescue rescued a man and his dog after the man's truck fell into an embankment where he sustained minor injuries.
"When we assessed the scene, it was determined he’d fallen several hundred feet down the slope and was beyond our rope rescue capability,” said Elk Valley & South Country Rural Fire and Rescue Chief Michael Hockley. Read more here
