Hiker Rescued By A Helping Hand At Mystic Lake

Last Thursday, a hiker who was ill was rescued by a bypasser at Mystic Lake where the Samaritan stayed with the hiker until the SAR teams came to the rescue.

Sheriff Dan Springer would like to commend the good Samaritan for having adequate supplies and a communication plan while recreating in the backcountry.  Read more here

Great work to the good samaritan for lending a helping hand to the hiker and staying with her until SAR teams came to aid the woman. We hope the woman is recovering well and as always, please be safe out there!
