SAR Teams Aids Climber After Castle Rock Fall in Leavenworth
SAR teams from the Chelan County Sheriff's Office and other volunteers came to the aid of a 43-year-old woman who went out for a rock climb at Castle Rock and stumbled down 25 feet on Friday morning, suffering a head injury.
The Sheriff's Office issued a statement reminding the public of potential hazards:
"Search and rescue season has not slowed yet in Chelan County. The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public minor issues this time of year can become more complicated due to changing weather. Read more here
