SAR Team Rescues Man From Mount Blue State Park Fall
A 75-year-old man was rescued by volunteers from the Main Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife after he fell off a ledge at Mount Blue State Park and was stranded in a bog.
“It is believed Altmaier had fallen down over a ledged embankment Monday and likely became disoriented and ended up in the area of the bog that evening where he eventually had fallen and was unable to get up,” according to wildlife officials. Read more here
