
SAR Team Rescues Injured Hiker on Cascade Mountains
On Monday, the Whidbey Search and Rescue and other volunteers aided a 40-year-old man who suffered a spinal injury while hiking at Whistler Creek in the Cascade Mountains.
Bellingham Mountain Rescue was already on the scene with the injured 40-year-old man but needed an aircraft capable of hoisting the hiker due to the nature of the terrain. Read more here
