Passengers Rescues After Their Cars Slid on Icy Road in Murray County
On Saturday, January 31st, the Murray County Search and Rescue team rescued passengers after their cars slid on icy roads, causing a blockage of Grassy Mountain Road.
Murray County Search and Rescue urged the public to stay away from the area until the road conditions improved. Read more here
Thank you to Murray County SAR and other volunteers for rescuing the passengers of the four vehicles. We hope they are doing well, as this is a reminder to anyone traveling during the snowy season to be careful when driving on icy roads.
