New Zealand SAR Team Recovers Body of Riverton Man in Waiau River
The body of a 20-year-old man from Riverton, NZ was found in the Waiau River by New Zealand SAR teams and police after he was swept away in the river on Tuesday.
A police spokesperson said: “Police can advise that the person unable to be located in the Waiau River earlier this afternoon has sadly been located dead near the Monowai Lake Road in Blackmount, Southland.” Read more here
