
Missing Hiker Found Deceased in Mount Hood
A 38-year-old hiker who went missing over the weekend while out hiking on Mt. Hood has been found on Monday as SAR teams recovered his body.
The sheriff’s office sent out a five-person team from the Hood River Crag Rats, a volunteer group that specializes in mountain rescues, along with a sheriff’s office plane, which ultimately spotted Tveite’s body, Sheriff’s office spokesperson Sgt.
