
Man Killed in Avalanche Near Hoyt Peak
Over the weekend, SAR teams recovered the body of a 51-year-old man after he was riding on his snow bike near the Hoyt Peak area where an avalanche erupted, killing the man.
Dispatch received reports of a skier who had not returned home by 5 p.m. Friday, according to a press release by the Summit County Sheriff's Office. Read more here
