
Lost Hunter Found Safe in Houghton County Woods
An 82-year-old bear hunter was found safe in the Houghton County Woods over the weekend after he and his group went bear hunting in the Winona area, where he went off on his own to decoy his bear stand and became lost.
Agencies assisting the Sheriff’s office in the search included the Keweenaw County Sheriff Office, Keweenaw Search and Rescue, Superior Search and Rescue, Baraga County Search and Rescue, Michigan State. Read more here
