
Hiker Found Safe After Skiing and Hiking on Snowy Mountains
SAR Teams over the weekend rescued a 57-year-old hiker back to safety on the Snowy Mountains after he didn't return home from a hiking/skiing trip in the mountains.
When he failed to return, officers from Riverina Police District and Monaro Police District were alerted and commenced inquiries into Cameron’s whereabouts, including a land and air search involving local police, SES (Alpine Search and Rescue), PolAir, Rural Fire Service, Police Rescue Squad, Wireless Radio Network Services, and National Parks and Wildlife Service.
