
Kayaker Rescued on Blue Lake
On Saturday, the Nineteen Sitka Search and Rescue and other volunteers aided a kayaker whose kayak flipped on Blue Lake.
In an interview with KCAW, assistant fire chief David Johnson said that the kayaker, who is a Sitka resident, was transported to Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center by ambulance with possible hypothermia. Read more here
