
Injured Hiker Rescued Near Tangerine Falls
On Saturday afternoon, the Santa Barabara County Search and Rescue team and other volunteers rescued a woman who injured herself at Cold Spring Canyon where she used her Apple Watch to use the Satellite SOS feature to call for help.
The hiker was located at the creek in Cold Spring Canyon a short distance from the falls with a lower leg injury. Read more here
Kudos to the woman for using her Apple Watch to call for help while there was no cell service. Great work to the SBCSAR and other volunteers for coming to the rescue. We hope the woman is recovering well from her injuries. Please be safe out there!
