Kayaker Found Safe After Search in Housatonic River
A kayaker is found safe after an empty kayak was found on the Housatonic River, prompting a search and rescue of the missing kayake,r just to find the kayaker safe at their home.
Derby Fire Chief Tommy Biggs said personal items including a pair of boots, GPS device, an oar and a warm cup of coffee were also found, suggesting the kayaker slipped into the water. Read more here
