On Saturday, the N.H. Fish and Game Conservation Officers along with Androscoggin Valley SAR and Pemigewassett Valley SAR teams came to the rescue as they descended to Mt. Eisenhower Loop Trail for a 57-year-old man who injured his lower leg after slipping on rocks while hiking.
Members of his hiking party attempted to treat the injury, but Silva could not bear any weight, so a call to 911 was made. Read more here
We are glad to hear the man was safely rescued and we wish him a speedy recovery on his lower leg. Great work to the N.H. Fish and Game Conservation Officers and volunteers from AVSAR and PEMI SAR for coming to the hiker's aid. We hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday and as always, please be safe out there!
