Injured Hiker Rescued By North Shore Rescue On Mount Seymour
The North Shore Rescue team rescued a man on Mt. Seymour after hiking with a group where he slipped on an icy ground injuring his ankle on New Year's Day.
When the volunteers arrived, they were able to stabilize the man's injury, help him warm up, give him some relief from the pain and load him into the jeep to be taken to a waiting ambulance. Read more here
Great work to the North Shore Rescue team for coming to the man's rescue. We hope the man is recovering from his injury well. Please make sure to wear appropriate shoes when hiking in the mountains, especially since the snow has fallen in most mountain regions. Please be safe out there and also, Happy New Year!
