
Hiker Missing in the North Cascades For A month Found Safe
A hiker who has been missing for over a month in the North Cascades National Park was found safe and alive on August 30th after Whatcom County Sheriff's Office found his car abandoned on August 3rd at the Hannegan Pass Trailhead and his dog near Chilliwack River.

Great work to the WCSO and other volunteers for finding the missing hiker safe. We hope this is a lesson for everyone always to pack an emergency bag filled with a warm blanket, gallons of water, etc. in case you get lost. We hope the man is doing well and as always, please be safe out there!
