Hiker Injured After Eleven Hour Rescue At North Sheep Mountain
After Chaffee County SAR conducted an 11-hour rescue at North Sheep Mountain, a hiker was rescued after falling 200 feet down from the mountain, suffering from head and back injuries.
A group of three hikers was helping another group before one of the members slipped on the steep terrain and fell about 200 feet on loose rock. Read more here
