Father and Son Rescued From Swiftwater Incident
The Sar team in Washington County rescued a father/son duo after they went rafting which ended up with them getting stuck in the sandbar of the Virginia River on Sunday.
The rust-colored water, typical of the river due to the area's red sand, was hiding just how much of the desert floor had been cut away as rescuers made their way through the gushing waters and to the sandbar. Read more here
