
Body of A Hiker Found in Paria Canyon
The Arizona first responders have recovered the body of a male hiker after a group of hikers found him near the Paria Canyon of the Arizona-Utah border on Sunday while another hiker who was with him is reportedly missing.
The deceased victim has not been publicly identified, but officials said he was male. He and the missing person, whose name has also not been released, were from Ohio. Read more here
There is no information on the cause of death of the hiker. We send our condolences to the family and friends of the male hiker. Prayers to the SAR team on the search for the other missing hiker.
UPDATE- SAR team has found the body of the 2nd male hiker. Officials who are currently investigating this incident believe both men were swept away by pools of flood waters while they were hiking. One hiker was 65 years old while the other hiker was 72 years old. We send our condolences to the families and friends of both men. Read more here
