
Elderly Man Drowns in Bitterroot River
A 76-year-old man drowned in Bitterroot River on Monday after he was fishing with two other people in a raft that collided with a bridge support pillar that caused the raft to tip over throwing the three fishermen into the water, where the other two made it out alive.
Sheriff Holton urges people to be careful on the river which he says is filled with obstacles and submerged hazards. Read more here
