
Dog Rescued By Chaffee County SAR Team Near Mount Hope
A German Shepard named Bailey was rescued by the Chaffee County SAR team after the dog was in distress at 13,600 feet near Mt. Hope on Thursday.
After a few hours of trying to coax him along, his owner determined that he was concerned for his own wellbeing and needed to descend himself but was unable carry Bailey down the class 3 ridge. Read more here
