
Coal Mine Collapses in China
A coal mine in China has collapsed due to a heavy landslide where five people lost their lives, while others are still missing.
More than 50 people were trapped when a 180-metre-high slope gave way at the open-pit mine in the Inner Mongolia region's Alxa Left Banner area at around 1:00 pm (0500 GMT) on Wednesday, according to state broadcaster CCTV. Read more here
