
CCSSAR Rescues Two Hikers in Cochise County
The Cochise County Sheriff's Office SAR team had a busy Tuesday as they rescued two hikers in separate searches where a 72-year-old man was stuck on a narrow slot at least 200 feet down on Dragoon Mountains while a 67-year-old woman was rescued after she injured her ankle on Silver Peak Trail.
Despite unfavorable weather conditions, crews were able to get the hiker to safety; the hiker was fortunately not injured. Read more here
It was sure a busy Tuesday for the SAR teams as they successfully rescued two hikers and for that, we give kudos to the SAR teams for their hard work and sweet dedication. We hope both hikers are doing well and as always, please be safe out there!
