
Body of Hiker Found Near Big Cottonwood Canyon Trail
On Monday, the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Search and Rescue team recovered the body of a missing 80-year-old hiker in the Sun Dial Trial area of Big Cottonwood Canyon Trail after he went on a solo hike early Sunday morning and never made it back home.
Karzen said it appeared the man had fallen 50 feet or more in the canyon. His identity has not been released, at the request of his family. Read more here
