Body Recovered on Mount Whitney May Be Missing Hiker
A body was recovered on Monday, December 15, on Mt. Whitney by Inyo County Search and Rescue that may belong to the missing 21-year-old hiker who went missing on November 10th.
Authorities told SFGATE a body had been reported beneath the “cables” switchback section of the trail on the mountain in November at about 12,000 feet elevation, but they had been unable to search the area until now. Read more here
