Woman Falls Thirty Feet Down From Waterfall in Wolfe County
A 61-year-old woman was rescued by the Wolfe County SAR team after she tried to save her dog but ended up falling 30 feet down from a waterfall in the Sunset Valley Road Cabin Development where she suffered an injured collarbone and legs.
The team used a high-angle raise and lower system to pull her up and then used a low-angle belay system to get her out of the steep hill and back to the road. Read more here
