
Two Snowmobilers Rescued By WCSAR After Snake Creek Avalanche
On Friday, the Wasatch County Search and Rescue team rescued two snowmobilers in the Snake Creek area after an avalanche erupted with only one snowmobiler sustaining serious injuries.

Thank you to the WCSAR team for rescuing the two snowmobilers as we wish them a speedy recovery from their injuries. If you plan to go up to the mountains to participate in outdoor activities, please be cautious and prepared for avalanches. Stay away from areas that prohibit people from causing avalanches. Wear appropriate warm clothing and more importantly, please pack an emergency bag in case you get lost. As always, please be safe out there, everyone!
