Two People Found Safe in Sonoma County
In two separate searches, the SAR teams and other volunteers up in Sonoma County rescued a hiker and a 28-year-old woman. In the first search, the 62-year-old hiker was reported missing on Saturday afternoon going on a hiker in the Occidental area but was found safe while in the 2nd search, a 28-year-old woman was found on Saturday night near Healdsburg after visiting the beach with her boyfriend.
Teams from the Occidental Fire Department, Mendocino County, Marin County, Napa County, Contra Costa County, San Mateo County, Bay Area Mountain Rescue and California Rescue Dog Association also helped in the search. Read more here
