Great work to the SAR teams for rescuing the two people. There aren't many details on how the two got lost, but just a reminder, if you plan to hike during the night time, please be well prepared by packing your emergency kit and laying out a plan on where you want to hike from start to finish and more importantly, let someone know your whereabouts in case you get lost. We hope they are well and as always, please be safe out there!
