Two Men Found Deceased in Gifford Pinchot National Forest
SAR Teams in Skamania County have found the bodies of two men, ages 59 and 37 in the wooded area of Gifford Pinchot National Forest after they were reported missing on Christmas morning while out looking for Sasquatch.
Their bodies were found “in a heavily wooded area” of the forest and officials said both deaths “appear to be due to exposure, based on weather conditions and ill-preparedness.” Read more here
We send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the two men. It's important to check the weather before heading out for an adventure. Always pack and essential bag full of emergency items such as a warm blanket, a compass, and a gallon of water. Please be safe out here, everyone!
