Two Hikers Suffered Fracture Injuries Hollyburn Mountain Trail
In two separate incidents, the North Shore Rescue team had all hands on deck after two hikers suffered broken bones on Hollyburn Mountain Trail with one woman rupturing her ankle over the weekend and on Monday, a 70-year-old man who broke his leg while on the trail.
“He seemed well prepared, his pack was quite heavy, which may have helped contribute to some of his injuries unfortunately,” Jardine said. Read more here
Ouch! We hope the two hikers are healing comfortably from their injuries. Please be careful if you are adventuring outside during the winter season, wear winter shoes to prevent from slipping on icy areas.
