Three Hikers Rescued By Klamath SAR Team
Three hikers were rescued by the Klamath SAR team in the Sky Lakes Wilderness last week after they were lost and didn't have cellular service.
Family members had GPS coordinates of the hikers thanks to a social media app they all shared. They relayed that information with SAR and a group of searchers was deployed to the area. Read more here
Special thanks to the family of the three hikers for helping the SAR team out in terms of the location and great work to the Klamath SAR team for rescuing the hikers. One tip I would like to share is to always bring water with you when you are hiking, especially since these days, the temperatures are warmer now, depending on where you're at, but still always bring water with you when going out on hikes. Please be safe out there!
