The Search For Two Canoeists Continues in Northwestern Wisconsin
Last month two canoeists were reportedly missing as SAR teams continue to search for them after there was an alert about a canoe sinking on the Minong Flowage in Wascott, WI.
Efforts to locate Ryan J. Busch, 26, and Andrew T. DeRock, 27, both from New Ulm, "began almost immediately" and involved personnel from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Sheriff's Office and numerous fire departments and search-and-rescue units. Read more here
As SAR terms continue their search, we hope and pray for them to find the canoeists as soon as possible as we send our thoughts and prayers to their families and friends. Please be safe out there!
