Swimmer Dies After Drowning Incident in Colchuck Lake
On Sunday, the SAR team in Chelan County came to the rescue to try to resuscitate a 30-year-old man who was swimming on Lake Colchuck in Leavenworth and drowned.
Due to the lake’s remote alpine location, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) immediately activated its Search and Rescue team and requested helicopter support through the Washington State Department of Emergency Management. Read more here
